This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit mg-tech.ai or write to us, why, for how long, and what rights you have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

For any question about your data, write to contact@mg-tech.ai. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as our activity does not require one.
 
2. What data we process

• Contact form: name, company, e-mail address, the topics you select and your message.

• E-mails you send us directly and the correspondence that follows.

• Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited. These are collected by the Wix platform through essential cookies and, only with your consent, through analytics cookies.

• The self-check: we collect nothing. Your answers stay in your browser.

 
3. Why we process it and on what legal basis

• Replying to you and preparing a possible engagement — Art. 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before a contract, and Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in answering enquiries

• Operation and security of the website — Art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest

• Visit statistics — Art. 6(1)(a), consent given through the cookie banner; you can withdraw it at any time

• Legal obligations if you become a client (accounting, tax) — Art. 6(1)(c), legal obligation

 
4. How long we keep data

• Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: at most 24 months from the last contact.

• Client data: for the duration of the contract and then as long as applicable law requires (for example, accounting records under Romanian Accounting Law no. 82/1991).

• Statistical data: according to the settings of the analytics tool, if one is enabled.

 
5. Who else receives the data

• Wix.com Ltd., the platform hosting the website, as processor.

• Web3Forms, the service that delivers contact-form messages to our mailbox, as processor.

• Usercentrics GmbH, the provider of the consent banner, which stores your cookie choices, as processor.

• Our e-mail provider, as processor.

• Our advisers (accountant, lawyer), bound by confidentiality.

• Public authorities, only when the law requires it.

• We do not sell or rent data to anyone.

 
6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some of our providers are based outside the European Economic Area or use data centres there. Such transfers take place only on the basis of a European Commission adequacy decision (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, for certified companies) or the Commission's standard contractual clauses.
 
7. Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest and withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing. We reply within one month of receiving your request.

8. Automated decisions
We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing of your data and we do not create profiles.
 
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures: limited access to data, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and providers that follow recognised security standards.
 
10. Minors
The website is aimed at companies and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data about people under 16.
 
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the date of the last update.
